Memory: I'm the weapon
Regained: Day 274, corruption hearts
Form: Small hearts (as in real meaty hearts) - no bigger than your thumb but . . . they'll be a little chewy, it might be best to swallow whole. (0/1 left)
What happened:
* Half of Brianna's face is badly burnt. One eye is swollen shut, half her hair is gone, it's pretty painful. She's on a couch in one of the Clifftop rooms, which full of other badly injured kids, some who look pretty close to death.
* Lana is healing two kids simultaneously and talking to Astrid at the same time. They're discussing the gaiaphage and how to fight it, but the situation seems really bleak. Astrid says they need a weapon.
Brianna, sitting up: I'm the weapon.
Lana: [affectionately] Sit down, you idiot.
[Brianna gets to her feet, wiggles her legs, and shakes her arms out]
Lana: Sit!
[Brianna is so surprised that she actually does sit back down]
Lana: Listen to me, Brianna: that burn is bad, and if I don't heal it now you may be stuck with a half-melted face and no hair. Do you understand that? After a while it's a chronic condition, not an injury, and I won't be able to heal it any more than I can make someone not be ugly.
Astrid: Ugly may be the least of our worries. You have any idea how dangerous a creature we're talking about? It's Sam, Caine, Dekka, Brianna… all rolled into one.
Lana: … Help Sanjit give these kids water.
Astrid: I'm not here to—
Lana: I'm taking five, Astrid.
* And with that, Lana peaces out.
What it means:
* UHHHhhhh
* MY FACE :(
* MY HAIR :(
* what happened…
* Lana is cool; Brianna has a lot of respect for her. There isn't really a sense that they're friends, but Brianna feels like Lana is an important person. Also she can heal people, what a badass.
* Astrid is less cool but Brianna does have some feelings of respect toward her as well. Just without the willingness to follow orders or defer to her. :|a
* Brianna!!! She's known the Breeze is her codename for a while but wow okay that's for sure her name. Awesome.
* Other names she recognizes: Sam (yay!), Caine (boooo!), Diana (boooo!), Dekka (from the club at Coates!)
